While the Matrice 300 RTK features a six-directional obstacle avoidance system, it has limitations, especially for night flying when the vision system is inactive or in tight spaces with thin wires or branches. The Circular Scanning Millimeter-Wave Radar (CSM) addresses these challenges by detecting obstacles up to 98 feet away, covering blind spots, and identifying smaller objects. Designed for seamless integration, the CSM also maintains the Matrice 300 RTK's IP45-rated water and dust protection.
