The Intelligent Flight Battery for Mavic from DJI features an integrated battery-management system that monitors various factors such as remaining voltage, power usage, temperature, and more, to accurately calculate remaining flight time, ensuring you always know when it's time to return home. The battery also includes multiple protection mechanisms to prevent overcharging and over-draining, which can permanently damage a LiPo battery. For long-term storage, it's recommended to keep the battery at 50% charge, as either higher or lower levels can cause permanent damage. If unused, the DJI Intelligent Flight Battery will automatically discharge to 50% to maintain optimal health.
